The exhibition Per Åhlin – a master of animation is a tribute to Per Åhlin as a filmmaker and artist. Per Åhlin (born in Hofors 1931) is a pioneer in Swedish animated film. The completely self-taught cartoonist and animator has been in business for over fifty years and is still active today. Per is perhaps best known for the films Dunderklumpen and Karl-Bertil Jonsson’s Christmas Eve, but also for the illustrations in Hasse and Tage’s various productions. The exhibition Per Åhlin – a master of animation is organized by Teckningsmuseet and is shown at Laholm’s theater July 16–August 14. Open: Tue-Sun at 10:00-16:00. Free admission!
