(Closed Augusti 31–September 25 due to re-hanging)

The museum is closed the following dates:
New Year’s Day, May 1, National Day (6th of June), Midsummer Eve, All Saints Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve.

The Drawing Studio

Downstairs in the museum you will find our Drawing Studio which is always open for our visitors. Here you can access various art materials available for both young and old. In the Drawing Studio you can create freely or follow our ideas of drawing inspired by the exhibitions.

On the weekends and school holidays we organize workshops with different themes, so take a look in our calendar.

Adjacent to the Drawing Studio you will also find Laholm’s Pottery Museum.

Bring along your colleagues, friends or association on a guided tour of the current exhibition! Public tours are free of charge every other Saturday at 2 p.m. Find the dates in our events calendar.

For booking of guided tours on other days/hours: 875 SEK/group. We also offer guided tour + creative workshop in our studio (3 hours): 2 100 SEK/group.

Teckningsmuseet is easily accessible near the parking lots and on ground level with no stairs. In the premises we have no high doorsteps or thresholds and one toilet is adapted for physically disabled/wheelchair users. In one of the rooms there is a hearing loop and we have automatic door openers at the entrance. Part of the reception desk is adapted for wheelchair access.

In addition to different brochures and maps the tourist information centre sells, among other things, souvenirs and fishing permits for Lagan, Smedjeån and Hjörneredssjön. You can also buy tickets to certain events.
